Being in Salou we can of course enjoy magnificent days at the beach, in any of its many and varied bathing areas that go from the urban Poniente and Levante, separated by the town's marina, or if we undertake the beautiful coastal path of the Camí de Ronda at the end of the last one heading east, we will be able to discover smaller coves surrounded by small cliffs where we may perhaps enjoy a greater sense of privacy or exclusivity.
Until reaching any of them we will have been able to enjoy the path made with platforms and wooden walkways that provide us with a large number of exceptionally attractive viewpoints, including some of the old bunkers from the war that are still preserved in the area.
If we are passionate about history and/or architecture in the surroundings of the town of Mont-roig del Camp, we can visit the Hermitage of Mare de Deu de la Roca, a small Christian sanctuary on top of a red sandstone cliff that was originally built as a reference point for the sometimes dangerous navigation in the area.
