Of course, La Pineda has a beach and one of the largest in the region, with its 2.5 kilometers of coastline that give us the opportunity to walk along the shores of the Mediterranean for a long time, but in the immediate vicinity of the town we can find other natural landscapes that can surprise the visitor just because of the point of visual contrast they represent.

Starting from the Plaza de la Canción Catalana in a pure north direction, we find the Humedal del Parque del Puente del Arte, an eminently natural environment with a hiking route that offers us a pleasant walk through the small redoubt of a Habitat that has been almost extinct due to exacerbated urbanism, but which in this case has fought to preserve itself.

But this would only be the starter for the main dish that is Sequía Major, one of the largest Mediterranean wetlands and with the largest population of native birds in the Costa Dorada area. With the intention that this scenario has been arranged, with the intention that it be both appreciated and respected, a series of wooden walkways that run over some swampy land that would be difficult to pass through. These trails come together from time to time in discreet viewpoints in front of points of special influx of animals, where we can enjoy watching their behavior almost without disturbance.
