In Tarragona capital we can visit, next to the coast, which is already a very interesting contrast, the ruins of one of the first settlements of colonial Hispania. In this place we will find various remains dating from the 2nd century BC, among which the amphitheater and the circus stand out. This excursion will take us just under half an hour by car, although it is something that is well worth it, as we have rarely seen better preserved ruins and in a more incomparable setting. We can also contrast it with the remains of the Villa de Llosa, a small residence dedicated to ceramic manufacturing work next to the promenade of the town of Cambrils, of course less spectacular than the previous ones.

Another historical gem in the area near Cambrils is the walled medieval town of Montblanc, with one of the most exemplary monasteries of the Cistercian Order of its architectural language that we can have the pleasure of contemplating, apart from the fact that sacred art be one of our weaknesses. This 12th-century construction has a perfectly preserved portico in its original carvings and imagery in which a typically Catalan differential trace can already be seen.
