In the nearby town of Torroella de Montgrí there is a beautiful hiking route of just over an hour that culminates in the battlements of the Montgrí Castle at about 320 meters above sea level.
This defensive watchtower is proposed as one of the best interior viewpoints in the area, as it offers a 360º panoramic view of the entire Empordà plain. Off the coast ofl'Estartit, we are lucky to find Las Medas, one of the landmarks of the Montgrí Natural Park, the Medes Islands and the Bajo Ter, a natural area of just over 20 hectares between terrestrial and marine environments, in which we find a wonderful habitat that has endemic species of both fauna and flora, which makes it one of the meccas of animal observation diving. But for those who do not practice snorkeling or scuba diving, there is also an option with which to enjoy the seabed without even having to get wet and that is that there are panoramic glass floor cruises.
