    A magical getaway in the month of September. We got together three couples and two children who are about to stop being that. If you find yourself in a similar situation, I advise you to stop looking, you will not find a more welcoming house.     We have stayed from March 17 to 19, 2012. The house is excellent, very clean, well-kept and well decorated. The owners have treated us really well, we have felt at home. The breakfast is very complete and in addition to this with products from the area. The room is very spacious and peaceful. In addition to this, in the dining room of the house, there is a microwave and refrigerator, to use as much as you want. What we liked the most is the detail that the wood-burning fireplace was lit at night and in the morning for breakfast, and the natural juices from the owners' orange tree, delicious.     We are 3 couples who have enjoyed the rural house Los Serranos. The house is very nice and comfortable, tastefully decorated and very warm. The bedrooms are very spacious and it is a convenience that each one of them has a bathroom. The kitchen has everything and the living room is also spacious, with its fireplace (we appreciate that Chema left us firewood for the whole weekend). The garden is very pretty, although the weather was not very good, but we were able to prepare a good barbecue. The landscapes and surroundings of the region of La Vera allow you to make beautiful excursions and you can eat wonderfully in the area. We went up to El Piornal, which was all covered in snow, and we played with the snow; From up there you could see beautiful views. The city of Plasencia and Garganta la Olla impressed us.     We traveled as a bunch of old friends with tween children, we occupied all 2 properties, and I have to say that each and every comment posted is accurate. The house is captivating, it is out of the ordinary of a rural house and gives a touch of personality and good taste, it is full of pleasant corners in which to entertain yourself with their books, records, games, objects... The "young" love it. they went from the basement to the attic for their amusement and we enjoyed the pleasant lounge, terrace and even barbecue even though it was December.     Our stay at Casillon 2 has been splendid. The treatment of the owner has been unbeatable, with direct contact all the time, even by WhatsApp. It has provided us with many places of interest to visit, any nature lover will enjoy the area a lot because it is magnificent. Regarding the holiday home, it consists of a kitchen-living room on the ground floor and the bedroom and bathroom on the upper floor. All very correct and very nice.
