I am glad to read that there are already very good comments about this beautiful and quiet place. Yes, there is a new management and the truth is about time. The new owners José and Dana have nothing to do with the previous ones. They do make all kinds of food and very delicious by the way in a wood oven that didn't exist before, and what to say about the delicious sauce they prepare. Last May Day, we traveled from the capital of Spain to the house, a group of friends with children. We occupied the entire house, making employment for the social life of the house located on the first floor, where we lacked nothing. The house is perfectly equipped with all the details. The owner and her husband took care of sweetening our mornings with exquisite pastries from the area and even one of the days of the long weekend they invited us to a meal at home.

I rented the 3 houses and they are each and every one beautiful, large pool, fantastic environment, tranquility. The houses are really well equipped, each house with 3 televisions, on the terrace of the main house you can have a wedding (if it had a television screen Serious firecracker TV, it's funny). I dealt with Joaquín the owner by phone while he was traveling, he was very polite, affable and appropriate.

Ok, I have to say that this has been the best visit I have made to a rural house so far, and they deserve it, because they take great care of everything down to the smallest detail. The owners are charming and very affable people, and they make hanging around the house feel like being in your country house. But the expense has also been incredible. Perhaps I am guilty of being too subjective, but my economic condition tells me that I do not know if I will be able to let myself get away for a long time. We needed it, and we have had it. We come back disconnected and we have enjoyed ourselves, but now I owe the bank some money :). The cost for accommodation and breakfast is not exaggerated either, but it hurts to pay forty euros for having four drinks, so many kilometers from the Spanish capital (where I no longer go out to drink, hence why), and the cost of dinners is too high. A more accessible menu, and perhaps we would have enjoyed dining in the fantastic atmosphere that this house offers, instead of going to town or Plasencia for dinner. Still with that, thank you very much for everything, it has been an incredible stay. PS: We'll be back, for sure ;)

We have traveled with children and, as much as we have, we have really enjoyed this farm with all those orange trees full of oranges (by the way, delicious). We are from the Hora Ludens choir and we stayed in multiple houses in Malpartida, each and every one unusual, although each one with its own fame. The components that were housed in this house were delighted by its comfort, decoration, etc. Very close to the town is Monfragüe (which we could not visit due to the logical organization of the choir) and Plasencia. The church of San Juan Bautista is worth a visit.

We have been in many rural houses throughout Spain and the Oropendola apartment has been one of the best we have seen. It is large, clean, built with great taste and with spectacular views. Very good detail, the wonderful breakfast included. It has a Good heating and we were not cold at all. The atmosphere of the house is to be enjoyed throughout the day, but the area and the towns deserve to get up early and kick the whole area to the fullest.

We loved the house when we booked it online, but what we liked the most was the contrast between the rural house and apartment, very rustic, and the change of style in the Loft, ideal for couples.
