Apartamento 4 La Lancha

Our apartment has a maximum capacity for 7 people and is located on the second floor (attic) of the building.
Being located on the upper floor of the building, which in turn is in the upper part of the town, allows you to enjoy a wide panoramic view that reaches several towns in La Vera, a good part of the town and the Tiétar valley. Thus enjoythe best views, and with the same luminosity and sun as the rest of the house.

The highlight of its distribution is the magnificent solarium-gazebo in the center of the living room. A covered and fully glass space ideal for enjoying breakfast or a chat.

The entrance and living room area also has a living space with 3 armchairs and a three-seater sofa with plasma TV, and another dining room.

Alarge kitchen opens to the living room set, equipped with all types of appliances necessary for cooking, dishes and enough kitchenware to cover the needs of seven occupants. 

3 independent bedrooms and another space in the attic part of the living room, and separated from it by curtains. They have enough beds for the capacity of the apartment. They are divided into one with a double bed of 150, another with a single bed of 105, and the third (the largest) with 2 beds of 105. To these we must add the 2 beds of 90 in the already mentioned area of the living room.

2 bathrooms with shower and with normal toiletries, as well as towels, complete the total space of the apartment which measures about 125 m2.

As we already indicated, the house is located in the upper part of Aldeanueva de La Vera, a few meters from the parish church, and about 5 minutes walk from the natural pool in the S. Gregorio gorge. In addition to the swimming pool, both in this gorge and in Los Guachos at the other end of the town, there are numerous pools where you can take a rewarding and cool swim during the summer season. It is something that is also found in most of the towns in the La Vera region in whose center we are.

We border two towns of Regional Tourist Interest: Jarandilla de La Vera, with the Parador de Turismo, and Cuacos de Yuste in whose term is the Royal Monastery of Yuste to which Charles V retired to end his days. Three other towns (Pasarón, Valverde and Villanueva) have the same quality mark for the conservation of their artistic and cultural heritage and for having respected and preserved the traditional architecture of the area.

The Comarca extends between the southwestern slopes of the Sierra de Gredos and its foothills, and the Tiétar River, a tributary of the Tagus, into which its gorges flow. The protection of the mountain softens the climatic conditions, turning the entire area into a "microclimate" with abundant water and vegetation that differentiates it (along with the Ambroz Valley and the Jerte Valley) from the traditional pasture of Extremadura. The entire northern area of Cáceres enjoys similar conditions to the La Vera region.

Routes through the valley or the mountains, and all kinds of outdoor sports activities are another of the attractions of the entire region. From the same house in which the apartments are located you can directly access areas for walking or hiking and being able to contemplate the great variety of vegetation and landscapes that change depending on the season of the year we choose. 

At a distance of half an hour by car we can access the two valleys mentioned above or the city of Plansecia of great monumental wealth. In an hour and a half we can visit the Monfragüe and Trujillo park, or the city of Cáceres with a splendid old town.
