Las Balleras - Condado de San Martín

Located on the outskirts of Boltaña is this rural house, ideal for spending a quiet weekend with the family in the middle of this bucolic countryside and mountain environment.

This rural house is a traditional building built of stone and wood and surrounded by a pleasant plot that will appeal to both children and adults. The house is divided into 4 apartments of different capacities, all of them with independent entrances.

The apartment in question has capacity for 6 people and is distributed in this way:

• 2 double bedrooms, one of them with a double bed and a high-end mattress to help guests have a complete rest. In addition, this room has a 22-inch television so guests can relax at nap time. The other bedroom has 2 single beds, ideal for children.

• A living-dining room with a 2-seater sofa bed for those who have larger families. The room is ideal for relaxing quietly while watching a movie or reading a book.

• 2 fully equipped bathrooms, one of them integrated into the double room and the other located in the hallway serving the other guests.

• A complete kitchen with everything you need to cook succulent meals quickly and comfortably. To help with laundry, the kitchen also has awashing machine.

• A large covered terrace accessed from the dining room where you can enjoy wonderful meals prepared on the barbecue.

In addition, the house offers:

• All the bath and bed linen necessary

We are in Boltaña, a small town located north of Huesca. The town was originally formed as a Roman urban center, although in the Middle Ages it was occupied by the Arabs, who built the old town and the castle. Later, the Christians would use the same castle to defend the population from the Arabs during the reconquest.

The town is located in the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park, listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Through this valley you can take excursions such as the one that leads to the Cola de Caballo, also known as the Soaso Waterfall, which starts from Torla and lasts about 6 hours until you reach the waterfall.

Another of the excursions that can be done in this area is the Barranco San Martín, a route of easy difficulty that follows the course of the San Martín River, bordering lakes and waterfalls until reaching the ravine. The excursion lasts between 2 and 3 hours, but it must be done in good weather.
