Cabana

Our apartment is located within a complex, located at Sant Joan Les Fonts, a town in the Garrotxa.

It is a very extensive farm, of 4,000 m2, where there are several accommodations. On the one hand there is the main house, an old Catalan farmhouse from the 18th century that has apartments distributed over its different floors. Its external appearance is not so typical, since its walls are made of stones from volcanoes, due to the area where it is located.
However, this house is not located inside the farmhouse, but consists of an independent cabin. In this way, your guests will enjoy plus privacy, since it is on the same plot, but not next to the house.
The cabin also has a very attractive appearance, which combines those magmatic rocks that the farmhouse presents with wooden planks.

On the top floor of the cabin, with its own entrance going up some stairs, is the apartment. It consists of a loft with open distribution and, although it is not very large, this decision in the distribution of the rooms increases the feeling of spaciousness.
It has a double bed, with a pretty wrought iron headboard and patterned bedspread, placed in front of one of the cobblestone walls. Therefore, the number of guests that can be accommodated in this apartment is 2.

In the same space is the living room, with a sofa and television. Also, there is a table to eat.
The kitchen is small, but enough to live independently and be able to cook or prepare anything.
The outdoor of the complex are fantastic, because there are so many things to do. You can practice sports in our volleyball and soccer courts. There is a game room with a pool table, plus a dartboard with darts. You can prepare a barbecue in one of the ones that are placed in the garden.
We also have a pool, which is not very big, but enough to cool off. The children have a toy cabin and swings.

We add that, if you want to travel with your pet and as long as she is small, you can without problem. Requires supplement.

The Garrotxa is a very rich volcanic area, with several volcanoes in its territories and a particular geology. That is why was declared Natural Park, to preserve the wonderful landscape and the history of its orography. Together with the Canary Islands, it is one of the most important volcanic terrains in Spain. Sant Joan Les Fonts is very beautiful, with 12th century monuments of great beauty and routes in the middle of nature such as the Route of the 3 Lava flows, which you cannot miss. Besalú is a spectacular town that preserves a lot of monuments and heritage from the Middle Ages.
