Our apartment is located within a complex, located in Sant Joan Les Fonts, a town in the Garrotxa.

It is a very extensive property, measuring 4,000 m2, where there are several accommodations. On the one hand there is the main house, an old Catalan farmhouse from the 18th century that has apartments distributed on its different floors. Its exterior appearance is not so typical, since its walls are made of stones from volcanoes, due to the area where it is located.

However, this home is not located within the farmhouse, but consists of an independent cabin. This way, your guests will enjoy more privacy, since it is on the same plot, but not next to the house.

The cabin also has a very attractive appearance, combining those magmatic rocks that the farmhouse presents with wooden planks. 

On the upper floor of the cabin, with its own entrance up some stairs, is the apartment. It consists of a loft with an open layout and, although it is not very large, this decision in the distribution of the rooms increases the feeling of spaciousness.

It has a double bed, with a beautiful wrought iron headboard and printed bedspread, placed in front of one of the cobblestone walls. Therefore, the number of guests that can be accommodated in this home is 2.

In the same space is the living room, with a sofa and television. In addition, there is a table to eat.

The kitchen is small, but enough to live independently and be able to cook or prepare anything.

The exteriors of the complex are fantastic, because there are many things to do. You can play sports on our volleyball and soccer fields. There is a games room with a pool table, as well as a dart board. You can prepare a barbecue in one of those placed in the garden.

We also have a pool, which is not very big, but enough to cool off. The children have a toy hut and swings.

We add that, if you want to travel with your pet and as long as it is small, you can without a problem. Requires supplement.

The Garrotxa is a very rich volcanic area, with several volcanoes in its territories and a particular geology. That is why it was declared a Natural Park, to preserve the wonderful landscape and the history of its orography. Together with the Canary Islands, it is one of the most important volcanic terrains in Spain. And this fantastic environment is where we find ourselves. lush vegetation, pools for bathing in the river, hiking and mountain biking trails

The Croscat volcano is one of those found in the Park. In addition to being very beautiful, it is special since it is surrounded by the well-known Beech Forest of Jordá, about which the poet Joan Maragall wrote one of his verses.

Sant Joan Les Fonts is very beautiful, with monuments from the 12th century of great beauty and routes surrounded by nature, such as the Route of the 3 Lava Coladas, which you cannot miss
Besalú is a spectacular town that preserves a lot of monuments and heritage from the Middle Ages. It forms a beautiful complex worth visiting, which is why it has the name of National Historical-Artistic Complex.

Just 6 km away is the capital of the region, Olot, with all services. Great gastronomic offer.
