The natural park of the volcanic areas of La Garrotxa is the place where our house is located, in the town of Sant Joan Les Fonts.

We have a rural complex in which we offer several homes, divided between the large farmhouse and a cabin. Guests can rent them one by one or several, in case they are larger groups. Despite this, each accommodation has its own access, so that, in case there are different guests, each one has their privacy and entrance.

The volcanic stones of the façade are our sign of identity. From this, the entire decoration is structured, in a rustic style but with new and restored furniture. The wooden ceilings and the graceful small windows provide a special touch.

This home has a capacity for 6 people, plus 1 extra bed. We have 3 bedrooms and they are all double: in 2 of them there is a double bed, while in the other there are 2 single beds. They are simple rooms, with few decorations. In this way, you can breathe the traditional atmosphere of the accommodation and its charm.

We also have a bathroom, in which there is a bathtub, and, in addition, another toilet for greater comfort.

The kitchen has a dishwasher, to facilitate your stay, as well as other equipment and kitchenware.

The living room is spacious and very cozy, since it has a large wood-burning fireplace. It is the original, restored to maintain the character of the room. There is also a dining area, with a beautiful wooden table and chairs with wicker seats. In addition to the sofas, there are several remodeled antique decorations, such as an old threshing floor or a beautiful hand-painted chest of drawers.

From here, you go out to the covered porch, with garden furniture. Ideal as a summer dining room

The exterior will not disappoint you. It is especially designed for family vacations, so that children can have fun. That's why we have installed some swings next to the wooden cabin that we have, which works like a life-size toy house, so the little ones will be entertained. In addition, there is a small swimming pool, located in a fenced area within the garden, to ensure security.

But not everything is for children, adults can also play soccer or volleyball on the farm's fields. If you prefer, there is a dartboard for playing a game of darts, and even a pool table. If you want to prepare something, there are several barbecues in the garden.

We add that we let you come with your pet, paying a small supplement.

The most representative of our environment is the volcanic area in which we find ourselves, the Garrotxa, declared a Natural Park for its unique terrain and geological richness. It has a multitude of volcanoes, but the last one to erupt was Croscat. Due to this, a strip of lava was formed. After it became cold, what is now the Jordá Beech grew on that land. The famous Catalan writer Joan Maragall dedicated a poem to these forests, titled "La fageda d'en Jordà".

A monument in the municipality where we are located, Sant Joan Les Fonts, is considered a National Monument. This is the monastery of Sant Joan Les Fonts, a beautiful construction made with volcanic stone. Also the Estada Juvinyà castle and the beautiful Romanesque bridge

Besalú is one of the towns near our house. Together with Sant Pau, another municipality, they constitute a perfect picture to transport you to the Middle Ages, thanks to their monuments. Besalú has been considered a National Historical-Artistic Site since 1996.

The capital of the region, with a good modernist and artistic offer. It has all the services of a capital. 

Great gastronomic offer in the area and many hiking and mountain bike routes (Vía Verde de Olot, Girona).
