Description of Palau del Roc
Our home is located within the province of Barcelona, where you will be able to get to know the population of Santa Maria de Merlès in depth.
The home, which has a large amount of green spaces and outdoor leisure areas, will provide you with the best vacation you could imagine, with all the comforts.
It is designed for 8 adults and 4 children, making it ideal for family groups looking to disconnect among the best features.
It consists of the following rooms:
- 5 bedrooms, equipped with 2 of them with a double bed, and the 2 that remain, with a pair of single beds. The fifth bedroom is located inside one of the previous ones, in the form of a loft and with a total of 4 single beds.
- 2 complete bathrooms, in which we have among the toilets, a shower and several sets of towels so that you can enjoy all the comfort.
- A spacious living room, in which we find a set of comfortable and very pleasant armchairs, which look towards the area where we have the wood-burning fireplace, in shape and providing a very homely atmosphere. Below and at the back of the room, a wooden dining table.
- A complete kitchen, bright and in white that combines with the wood. It has an adjoining dining room with a wooden table and several chairs.
Already in the exteriors, we have:
- A porch with table and chairs, next to the barbecue area.
- A swimming pool, with gardens.
*Groups of young people are not allowed.
**Parties are not allowed. We are in a very quiet valley, so it isprohibited to play music late at night.

About Laura Casanova Calvet, Owner of Palau del Roc
I was born in 1987, I am livestock by Passion and "Hotelier" by trade. I consider myself entrepreneur and I am a mother of 3 kids. We live in the countryside, in our wonderful farm in the Catalan pre-Pyrineo (in a beautiful valley located at 1 hour by car in the city of Barcelona, in the Berguedà region).
At the end of school, my passion for the world of hotels took me to Switzerland, to the university where I graduated in a hotel direction. When I finished I returned to the Dondé family farm I started my project. A combination of my two passions: my eco-shan and my rural accommodations.
Our location allows all kinds of activities according to the season. Our fort are the mushrooms in autumn and truffles in winter. Walks or spring bicycle excursions. The bathrooms in the river in summer. Even ski slopes at 1h car.
In the Masía we organize custom activities as exits to find Trufa, Yoga Workshop, Lettering Workshop... In the area there are a variety of activities for all ages. You can do any type of activity in nature: climbing, hiking, segway, quads, bicycle routes... for the little ones and not so small... circuit for trees, group activities such as Paintball and even Scaperooms for the most animats.
