El Paller II

A lovely holiday accommodation located in the vicinity of the Gironés people of why. Its structure reminds the traditional Catalan moreias and although it was built in the seventeenth century its spaces have been currently renovated to adapt them to current needs.

Looking for the essence of El Paller, we decided to condition the outer space, keeping in mind the Mediterranean forest that surrounds the farm.

A path that winds along a mantle of grass directs us to the house. A small porch with table and chairs welcomes us. Distributed at two heights, the house is built in stone and designed to make the most of the natural light, hence its stays have large wooden windows in which to contemplate the garden with different plantations.

Warmness and comfort are characteristic attributes of their spaces, distributed in two floors communicated by a snail staircase. The kitchen-dining room is a practical space where to have lunch or enjoy the nap in its sofas in the chimney heat.  A family house, which has 2 bedrooms to house 4 people. 

In addition, there are some facilities that are common and that are shared between guests housed in the 4 masías, and that are structured in:

• A game room where you will find a pool, a football and even a ping pong table.

• And for the little ones a small corner with games and a blackboard in which it enlivens their creativity was enabled.

• On the outside a large land that is equipped with a pool with slide and swings.

• Nothing better in spring like preparing a barbecue and enjoying long talks in stone banks that decorate the garden.

In the vicinity of the Masía you will find paths that will lead you to historical places such as the remains of Church of St Quirze and this Julita. On the way back you can refresh at the source of Merlant, with a fresh and very good quality water that supplies the locals.
