Description of Casas Rurales Lagunas de Ruidera
Our rural complex belongs to the municipality de Ossa de Montiel, inside the Ruidera (Albacete).
It is a set of rural houses that form a small urbanization in which all are concentrated around a main street, spread over a large plot. In total, there are 9 houses that are rented separately, although you can reserve several depending on the number of people you are. One of them is special, since the house is located in an old mill.
The outside is the most representative of our rural complex.
First of all, due to the pool. It is the meeting place of all the guests and a fantastic place to relax, have fun and enjoy the surroundings. It is a single large glass, located in a beautiful garden. Next door, there is an outdoor shower for before and after the bath. The edge of the pool is made of stone, but around it is full of grass. There are also trees to ensure the shade and flowers that brighten the garden. There is a sunbathing area or terrace, equipped with garden furniture, for example chairs .
In addition, entire pool enclosure is fenced and separated from the streets between the apartments by a fence of wooden planks, with a tone very campestre.
In another area of the patio you can find 2 barbecues of work, fully prepared if guests want to make fire and prepare some food.
The decoration and the style of the exteriors show a set well cohesive and with a lot of personality. The facades are plastered and painted in beige tones. However, there are a lot of details in brick and dark wood that give the character that represents our set. There are also colored areas with indigo dyes, which end up giving the touch manchego.
the vegetation is another key element, since all plants are placed gracefully and even the smallest detail is taken care of meticulously, so that the whole has style and elegance.

Sourroundings of Casas Rurales Lagunas de Ruidera
Logically, the most significant of the surroundings are the Lagunas de Ruidera. It is a Natural Park located between Ruidera and Ossa de Montiel, constituting itself as a natural border, since it has part in Albacete and part in Ciudad Real. It is located at Alto Valle del Río Guadiana.
The Park is formed by 15 lagoons that run past the 120 meters high between the highest and the lowest. Its water flows everywhere, forming streams and waterfalls, but also circulates through groundwater routes. Although, due to the unevenness, the most representative of the Park are the waterfalls.
Ossa de Montiel, as a town, also offers many possibilities. The best known is the church of Santa María Magdalena, which combines the Gothic and Mudejar style. In addition, on the outskirts, it has the remains of a visigothic castle, that of Rochafrida, dating from the 12th century.
