Welcome to Solipueyo, a small town in the east of Huesca that has about 32 inhabitants. It is located in the Valle de la Fueva, a green and quiet place full of pastures and sandwiched between mountains. Thanks to its particular orography, the towns in this area have preserved their mountain flavor and medieval structure.
In this valley you can take the route to the Usía Ravine, which starts from the navigable Mediano Reservoir, surrounds the church of an old submerged town and reaches the ravine through which you can continue until you reach the ruins of an old mill. The ravine can also be explored by canoe.
Near this area is the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park, with an area of 15,608 hectares. Its highest peak is Monte Perdido, which is 3,355 meters above sea level. This park is the second oldest national park in Spain and is a perfect place for ornithologists, since it is declared a Special Bird Protection Area.
