Sourroundings of Casa Rural Fantova
Solipueyo is a small village in Huesca with 32 inhabitants located east of the province. It is part of the Valley of the Fueva, a calm and green valley that is used for pastures. Thanks to the peculiar orography of this valley, its villages have retained their authenticity and their medieval architecture.
In this valley is the Barranco de la Usía, a canyon that is accessed through a route that starts from the Medium reservoir, an excellent navigable lake, surrounds the bell tower of an ancient submerged town and reaches the ravine. Once there, the ravine can be bordered to reach the ruins of an old mill or can be descended by canoe.
The valley is at an excellent distance from the National Park of Ordesa and Monte Perdido, which has an area of about 15608 hectares and its highest mountain is the lost Mount, with 3355 meters of altitude. This park is the second oldest in Spain and has been declared a Special Protection Area for Birds, making it an ideal place for bird lovers.
