Welcome to Novés, a small town in the northwest of Huesca. About 30 inhabitants live there and some of its buildings, including the parish church, are several centuries old. Near this town is Jaca, a medieval city that has a large number of monuments and tours for tourists to do.
One of these enclaves is the Citadel of Jaca, a pentagonal fortress that was built at the end of the 16th century and is the only one in the world that is preserved intact. It consists of a residential area, a wall and a moat covered with grass that currently serves as housing for a herd of deer.
In this city you can also see the Clock Tower, also called Prison Tower, which serves as support for the Clock-Belfry that regulated the life of the city. In 1602 it was adapted to be used as a prison due to its height and rectangular floor plan.
