Casa Rural La Vallejera

Our rural house is located in Tejeda de Tiétar, a town council belonging to the autonomous community of Extremadura, province of Cáceres and within the region of La Vera. 

It has a capacity for 12 people, being located within a farm bordered by the Gargüera stream and beautiful nature that make it ideal for an unforgettable stay.

Equipped with all kinds of comforts. The rural house has2 floors and can be described on its lower floor as follows:

• A living room provided with various home furnishings where a wood-burning fireplace stands out that heats the entire room during the winter phases.

• A dining room attached to the living room consists of a spacious table where residents can enjoy the typical foods of the region with complete ease.

• A toilet

• A kitchen equipped with appliances, dishes and various utensils to simplify the residents' usual tasks. 

For its part, on the upper floor of the house we can detail:

• 6 bedrooms with single or double beds freely selected by guests for a quiet and peaceful personal rest.

• 5 bathrooms of which 3 are incorporated into rooms 4, 5 and 6 and the other 2 are shared by rooms 1, 2 and 3

Finally, in the exterior area of the residence we can locate:

• Parking areawhere you can park easily.
• A orchard where the property grows organic products.
• Barbecueswhere you can prepare opulent barbecues with the exquisite meat of the region.
• Paellera so that by bringing only the ingredients you can shine with the others.
• Garden areas.
• Cherry and fig tree plantations.

If you are an animal lover, we have horses, dogs, chickens, pigeons, partridges and canaries.

At a distance of 100 kilometers from Cáceres, Tejeda de Tiétar is a town hall in Extremadura with a demographic of 840 residents and a population density of 17 inhabitants per square kilometer.

From a tourist point of view, the Sierra del Piornal and Cerro Peñalba located to the north of the town hall make up its main tourist attractions for those travelers who like to practice hiking or climbing routes.

In that sense, the Tiétar stream and the Gargüera valley constitute another focus of interest for hikers who visit this town, since in these locations you can practice canoeing or kayaking in total comfort.

Finally, the city council organizes a large number of popular celebrations throughout the 365 days of the year, highlighting the commemoration of the Holy Christ on September 14.

It is worth visiting the regions of La Vera (Yuste Monastery, natural pools, landscape and gastronomy) and El Valle del Jerte (nature and many cherry trees), Plasencia (monumental city), Monfragüe Natural Park (bird watching).
