Novés is a small town located in the northwest of the province of Huesca. At the moment it is populated by about 30 inhabitants and its parochial church has several centuries of antiquity. Very close to this town is Jaca, a medieval city where you can find several monuments and remains of different eras.
One of these monuments is the Citadel of Jaca, a construction of the late sixteenth century that has a pentagonal plan. It is the only fortress of its kind that remains intact throughout the world. It is formed by a wall, an area of residence and a moat that is currently populated by a herd of deer.
You can also see in this city the Clock Tower o prison tower, since it served as support for the clock-bell that marked the town's life and that in 1602 was used as a prison. It is a rectangular tower built with irregular stones.
