Cal Griva

Cal Griva is a beautiful rural house of the s. XVII and rehabilitated biosostenible in 2010, using all kinds of materials that respect and integrate into the environment. Even the indications introduced by the system f eng-shui have been followed. It is under the impressive Riscos de Capolat y surrounded by large meadows.

With a capacity for a total of 17 people, this spacious and cozy house is distributed as follows:

• 6 rooms: 1 quadruple, 3 triples and 2 doubles.
• 6 bathrooms with modern design batteries
• Dining room and rest room very bright with a large fireplace and television with home-cinema.
• Kitchen with dishwasher, oven or microwave.

Outside the pool stands out, with hammocks and umbrellas and spectacular views of the countryside; also a semi-covered area with barbecue (firewood already cut for the use of the tenant), wooden table and benches, as well as a refrigerator. The garden is very spacious and has a space with aromatic plants and other football goals. Also outdoors you can enjoy a porch with games (ping-pong, table football, etc.).

As it could not be otherwise, it has biomass heating, a renewable energy, in all rooms of the accommodation.

Another fundamental feature is the Wi-Fi internet connection and very careful decoration combining rustic and modern touches.

Cal Griva is located in the small village of L'Espunyola, southwest of the region of Berguedà. Here it is worth visiting its medieval castle.

The area offers many leisure alternatives such as the following:

• Routes on foot to the Pedraforca massif o la la sierra del Cadí.
• Visit to the Sanctuary of Queralt.
• Visit Mushroom Museum in Montmajor.
• Excursion to the coal mines de Fígols.
