Casa Aldaba

The accommodation is located in La Hiruela, Madrid, and is a completely restored stone house. It is built with traditional local materials and its architecture maintains the style of the houses in the area. The house is divided into 3 complete apartments; They all have wonderful views of the Dehesa de Robles.

Each apartment has a maximum capacity of 4 people, 2 of which are placed on a double sofa bed. One of the apartments is in the attic of the house.

Each one measures between 36 and 56 square meters of useful surface. They have a personality and a different name that make them different from each other.

They all have carefully maintained equipment, the elements are modern and each space is designed so that the rest is the best. The decoration is refined and tasteful, pleasant surfaces, relaxing colors and stylish corners are the characteristics of the apartments. They have:

• A double bedroom with 2 single beds with memory foam mattresses. Both dressed, with pillows and duvets. Located in a bright space with views of the valley. As furniture they have night tables and a wooden wardrobe. We have a travel cot.

• A bathroom equipped with basic toiletries. It has a large mirror, hair dryer and hydromassage shower. We have a bathtub for babies.

• Aliving room with fireplace. It is a warm place arranged around a comfortable double sofa bed and equipped with a flat screen television with DVD and movies. The fireplace is embedded in one of the walls; We offer firewood.

• The kitchen comes with appliances, kitchenware and utensils to make us feel at home. We also have a Nesspreso coffee machine.

• Awooden table for 4 people that functions as a dining room; There is also a desk and furniture made of this same material.

The apartments are bright thanks to the large windows and the attic has skylights that allow the place to be filled with natural light.

In each apartment guests have products and food for daily breakfast.

The accommodation is located in La Hiruela, a municipality in the north of the Community of Madrid right on the border with the community of Guadalajara. La Hiruela is in the Sierra del Rincón, a place named Natural Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 2005.

The Jarama River crosses through the municipality. Throughout we find forests of birch, oak, beech, and cherry trees, among others. The local fauna is characterized by the presence of badgers, roe deer and wild boars. The territory can be explored on foot or by bicycle, there are various paths that cross meadows and old water mills in operation.
The medieval town of Buitrago is very close, it is a place declared a Historical-Artistic Site in 1993. You can visit the impressive wall that surrounds the town, built in the 11th century. There is also theBuitrago de Lozoya Castle, Gothic-Mudejar style and built in the 15th century.
