Description of Apartahotel Collarubio
Our apartahotel is located at Collado Mediano, in full Sierra de Guadarrama, north of the community of Madrid.
Our offer of rural accommodation consists of apartments. They are independent homes entre and each one has its own entrance.
But our services do not end with simple rent, but we do much more. The fact of constituting us as an aparthotel is oriented to our intention to take care of the guests. We want them to have the autonomy of an apartment, without having to give up the facilities of a hotel. That's why we provide, for example, bathroom amenities and also perform cleaning service and change of clothes.
It is a single-family building, located in the center of the town. It is a recent construction, since the work was finished in 2010. Therefore, you can enjoy rural and country surroundings, thanks to the location, but you will also have new materials and modern furniture.
We have 10 apartments, of which some have a room, another 2 and others 3. This is also an advantage, since all types of guests can stay here. You only need to choose depending on the number of people that you go on vacation. In fact, you can even increase the capacity with extra beds.
The building itself has a very new look, it shows that it is recent. The facade presents bricks visions, which break the horizontality around the windows. This material is combined with the dark green, creating a very nice combination, rustic looking at the same time cool.
Something representative is the corridor entrance to the house. Some apartments have access from the street and others from an interior corridor. However, there is a fenced gallery that goes to the entrance of other houses. Besides giving it a characteristic appearance, it is designed for something more important: so that guests with reduced mobility have greater facilities of travel. In this way, we eliminate the stairs and replace them by slopes. All apartments are adapted in the same way.
Our homes are characterized by the luminosity, since all are exterior and also thanks to its large windows.
Another element that increases the comfort of our accommodation is the internet access, for the entire building. In all the apartments there is installed heating, with an extra functionality: it is not central, but each group can control it from their home.

Collado Mediano is a pretty big town, with a lot of life. In addition, thanks to the Sierra de Guadarrama, it has some very beautiful landscapes. It has always stood out for the stonework, in addition to agriculture and livestock. You can visit, among others, the church of San Ildefonso, built in the XVIII century.
Manzanares Real is also a very nice municipality, close to our apartments. Stands out among its monuments, the castle. It dates from the Middle Ages, and enjoys very good maintenance and is very well preserved.
