With almost 13,000 hectares of Mediterranean forest, the Garraf Natural Park should be one of our favorite leisure options, even if only for some of the Jordanians on our stay. And it is that this enclave we can enjoy up to 11 hiking trails of different degrees of difficulty, in which we can see from cliffs, caves and some peaks quite affordable for the general public.
It is the curious case that in the middle of this beautiful natural setting there is an old modernist villa, the Palau Novella, which would be built at the end of the 19th century and which in 1996 would become the first temple Buddhist from Catalonia, where they now do spiritual retreats and days of inner connection, these activities speak quite well of how peaceful the surrounding environment is.
On the small elevation that rises from among the streets of the historic center we find the Castle of Castelldefels, which would take advantage of the same location that would be occupied before by an Iberian settlement and later by a Roman villa. The border between the caliphate of Córdoba and the kingdom of Aragon is quite well preserved with hardly any restorations.
