Apartamento La Pallissa - Can Bonet

Our rural accommodation belongs to the Can Bonet complex, an old Catalan farmhouse located in a small town in Girona. This is an apartment that was formerly a hayloft, but we wanted to renovate it in a modern style to adapt it to current needs but preserving original elements. It is ideal to host a couple.

Inside we have a bedroom with a double bed, which rests on a tatami. The most characteristic thing is its large windows, with beautiful views of the forest. You also have a wardrobe with an avant-garde style. The room has its corresponding bedding. It is possible to add an extra bed or crib for a baby.

The bathroom is integrated into the interior of the bedroom. It has a modern shower, with tile, which you will surely love. The sink is near the closet and we have a hair dryer. In short, everything is an open space to share with your partner.

The kitchen is fully equipped and has different appliances so that you can use during your stay. Some of them are dishwasher, microwave, oven, stove, smoke extractor, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, etc. You also have kitchenware and utensils. It is arranged in an open space next to the living room and dining room.

Next to this we find the dining area, which consists of a table for 2 people. Theliving room completes this room. The highlight of this area is its beautiful design fireplace, hanging from the ceiling and attached to the wall, in black. Here you also have large windows to see all the surrounding vegetation. We also found a television with DVD and a mini-system.

Throughout the apartment we have air conditioning and heating so you can regulate it to your liking. The entire house has WiFi connection. Pets are allowed. 

Outdoor area:

• An area where you can have outdoor barbecues.
• A swimming pool in summer with sun loungers
• A porch with different furniture.
• A covered parking.
• For you to pass the time and have fun we have a badminton net with rackets, a goal for playing soccer with a ball and a covered ping pong table.
• If you like it, you can visit our garden where we have a multitude of things planted or the corral, where our geese and chickens live.

We would like to make a series of recommendations for you to visit our surroundings and have a complete stay: tranquility and tourism.

Some of the places are the following:

1. San Martí de Vell. It is the town in which we are located. A charming little town. You can visit its Church, which, although it was rehabilitated in the 16th century, is built in a Romanesque style that it maintains.
2. Púbol Castle. The artist Salvador Dalí lived in this castle together with his wife Gala. That is why for art lovers it is a must-see, since inside there are different creations by Dalí.
3. In Medinyá, another surrounding town, you can visit its castle, which is characterized by its façade full of arches. We also recommend visiting the interior area.

Finally, don't forget to try the calçots, which are usually roasted and with romescu sauce.
