Our rural house is in El Barraco, Ávila, in the region of Alto Alberche.

The accommodation has a capacity for 10 people in total and is rented entirely. 

These are old houses that were completely renovated to convert them into rural accommodation. The result is charming, as it still preserves the rustic aesthetic. Although it maintains its original distribution, it is a completely new house. In short, here you can find the perfect combination between countryside and comforts. The façade is the proof, since it still preserves the original stones, but the windows and balconies are new and with green tones, so as not to break the harmony.

In the outdoor areas, just a 5-minute walk from the house, there is a swimming pool with curvilinear edges that add a very attractive touch. However, the most important thing is that it is completely fenced all around, since the safety of the entire family is essential for us. We also have a plot in front of the house, where there are several barbecues and a large covered picnic table. In this space you can enjoy fantastic evenings all together.

In the house there are 6 rooms among which the guests will be divided. Two of which are singles, while the remaining 4 are doubles. The decoration is very rustic, predominating wood, wrought iron and stone. In addition, almost all ceilings retain exposed beams.

There is also a bathroom with all the components.

The kitchen has all the appliances, including washing machine or ceramic hob, to make the stay as comfortable as possible.

The living room is a key room in our accommodation, since it is a family and pleasant room. This sensation is provided, mainly, by the wood-burning fireplace that presides over the living room and encouraged by armchairs and wing sofas. It also has television and a large dining table for all guests.

Traditional architecture is not at odds with comforts. Therefore, our goal is to offer clients all the services without losing the cozy country atmosphere. To this end, we offer you a series of benefits:

The Alto Alberche region is a beautiful area with a vast natural wealth. The Alberche River bathes these lands, creating a steep orography. This is the easternmost part of the Sierra de Gredos.

The Iruelas Valley nature reserve surrounds our house. In it, there is the El Burguillo reservoir, one of the reservoirs where bathing and practicing water sports are allowed.

As far as the town is concerned, it also has places to visit. El Barraco has, for example, the so-called "New Bridge" which, in reality, was built in I BC. approximately by the Romans. You can also see the hermitage of La Piedad, the church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción or the Town Hall, a very beautiful building.
