Casa del Tenao

Between Ávila and Madrid, just over an hour away, we find this modern style house but within a rural environment.
Designed with a variety of materials such as slate, stone on its facades, wood for furniture, etc. Here we will find the ideal place to spend a few good days surrounded by nature and without having to travel many kilometers from the city.

This house is part of a small complex of 2 houses linked through an interior patio. They are rented independently and both belong to Abuela Benita.

This specific apartment has a maximum capacity of 12 people. The house is divided into 4 bedrooms – located on the upper floor – with 2 individual beds in each one, which also has its own bathroom. The other 4 people are in extra beds.

In all rooms there are built-in wardrobes and wooden furniture, all selected to obtain a design and an atmosphere full of light.

On the ground floor we find a living room with fireplace and a toilet to facilitate the comfort of the tenants. You can also enjoy thelibrary with information about the area, a living area with television with DVD, music equipment and a wide collection of games so you can spend your free time.

You can have the kitchen, where there is also a television, and which is fully equipped:

• Ceramic hob kitchen.
• Oven.
• Microwave.
• Dishwasher.
• Refrigerator.
• Extractor hood.
• Washing machine.
•  Household utensils.

Outside the house there is a large garden with barbecue, where you can cook some good grilled meats (or some vegetables) and a bar.

At your disposal there are lunch and dinner services.

And, finally, if you like to travel with your pets, you can come to this house with them!

Less than 100 kilometers from Madrid we find the town of Cebreros, although it belongs to the province of Ávila.

Here you can enjoy pleasant walks through its forests of pine, juniper, cypresses... and meet animals in freedom such as the wildcat, hares, squirrels, in addition to the typical reptiles such as lizards that hide so quickly when they see us.

You can enjoy a good swim in the municipal pool after a game of tennis on the facility's court or a good bike ride. And for the little ones, in addition to these, there are activities dedicated to them.

If we go up to the upper area of the town we can see large areas dedicated to vineyards, where 3 types of grapes are grown: mainly Garnacha, Albillo and Tempranillo and where winerys such as El Quexigal stand out.

In the town they boast of being the place where Adolfo Suárez was born, and a museum has been dedicated to him and the transition. In this town, with about 3,000 inhabitants, we also find the satellite tracking station.
