Casa de la Plaza

A little less than an hour from Madrid, and half an hour from Ávila, we arrive at the town of Cebreros.  Here we find this house within the Casa Abuela Benita complex that connects, through an interior patio from the kitchens, with the Casa del Tenao.

This apartment with capacity for 12 people is divided into 2 floors. On the upper floor we find the 4 double bedrooms with single beds, and all with bathroom included, with built-in wardrobes and the rest of the wooden furniture. The remaining 4 people will go 4 extra beds.

On the ground floor, and continuing with the same design and transmitting an atmosphere of light, is the kitchen. It comes equipped with:

• Ceramic hob kitchen.
• Oven.
• Microwave.
• Dishwasher.
• Refrigerator.
• Extractor hood.
• Washing machine.
• Household utensils.

We also find a living room with television – which is also in the kitchen – and DVD, board games, a library with all the necessary information to make the most of your stay and everything the town offers, as well as a living room with fireplace.

The entire house is built with stone, slate, wood or wrought iron, which also combine with the rustic atmosphere of the town. Here we will find the perfect mix between nature and current comforts.

To regain strength, have a good barbecue, and while the food is cooking, the children will be able to distract themselves with special activities for them. And if you don't want to cook, there are lunch and dinner services.

Ah! And animals are welcome.

In Cebreros, a town known for being where Adolfo Suárez was born, you can enjoy the purest nature without the need to go far from the city.

If we leave the premises of the house we can take a good swim in the minimunicipal pools. In addition, we can also play sports by playing a game of tennis on the facility's court or taking a walk with the available bicycles.

Here you can visit the museum that is dedicated to the former president and the entire history of the Spanish transition and which was opened in 2009. You can visit it if you decide to do some historical tourism, because it has also been installed in the old church that was built in the 14th century.

The Church of Santiago Apóstol does continue to be a Catholic temple and has become the town's parish. It was declared an asset of cultural interest in 1991.

Cebreros is well known not only for its vineyards, but for its carnivals. Neighboring towns such as El Tiemblo or Hoyo de Pinares and even people from Ávila come here to participate in their parade. On these days and in the afternoons the Baile del Rondón is danced where the Jota Cebrereña is practiced.
