Masovería Riambau

This rural house is located in the beautiful town of Berguedà, in the Catalan province of Barcelona. Located in a unique place 100 kilometers from the capital of Barcelona and just one hour from the beach.

This house has a maximum capacity of 10 people, pets included, nestled in a unique place that has been in charge of providing us with the materials that shine on its facade: stone and wood, making it a wonderful home to the view.

In addition, together with a large pool in its backyard, it makes us enjoy the stay to the fullest, thus allowing moments of leisure in common and observing at the same time, some beautiful views of the Barcelona lands. At his side, we can enjoy a meal outdoors on his solid wood porch.

Their stays are divided into:

• 4 double bedrooms, 3 of them with beds of double and the last one, with a pair of single beds. All of them have natural wood finishes that, together with the great brightness that allow their windows as well as the views of the exterior, form a perfect space to rest.

• A single bedroom with extra bed for last minute unforeseen events, or crib for the little ones in the house. It has the same amenities as the other rooms, including sets of sheets and blankets for each season of the year.

• A fully equipped kitchen in which wood predominates, both in the ceiling beams and in the cabinets that are located under the worktop, mixing with the large electrical appliances. In addition, kitchen utensils to facilitate the task of cooking. You can also enjoy another kitchen, this being country style where you will find the basics for day-to-day activity.

• A very spacious living room in which the main front predominates, which is built in stone and on which the huge wood-burning fireplace rests, being the main attraction of the room. In front of her, a set of sofas upholstered in cream tones. To the right of this set, the huge dining table, without space problems due to its great breadth. On it some lamps that provide an extra dose of luminosity and, of course, a plasma television anchored to the wall.

• 2 bathrooms, both in white tones and with sets of basic toilets distributed throughout the space. They have shower trays and in addition, several towel sets are made available to our guests.

In the exterior of the house we find a huge porch with a natural stone structure and wooden furniture, such as the large picnic area with benches, next to which is the barbecue. In addition, a bar, which leaves a perfect visibility of the garden area, perfectly cared for and presided over by a fenced pool, for greater protection of children.
And finally, a large parking area for several vehicles.

The enclave where this house is located allows us to take two addresses in our free time.
If we prefer a more natural way , we have at our disposal hiking trails in the area, of different difficulty, which will allow us to see the landscape, full of fields of cultivation and areas where animals graze, thus enhancing a of the largest sources of income in this region: the Berguedà region.

In addition, being just 100 kilometers from the Pyrenees, you will be able to see one of the jewels that our nature gives us, observing the snow, almost perennial throughout the year.
And if we opt for a more urban way, you can enjoy the architecture of the area, where you will find numerous religious buildings such as the churches of Santa María de Marlés or the of San Pablo de Pinòs, both of the Romanesque period.

In addition, to learn a little more about the history of the area, you can go to the ruins of the old medieval castle or walk on the stone bridge, of the Romanesque style.
