Mas Riera I

This rural house is located in Maià de Montcal, in the province of Gerona.

It is a typical Catalan farmhouse, recently restored, although it retains some of its ancient elements and is adapted to current comforts.

The accommodation, with capacity to accommodate8 guests, is composed of:

• A living room with cobbled walls, equipped with a sofa, 2 armchairs, television and a large dining table with capacity for 8 people.

• A complete kitchen equipped with all appliances, including an oven, so that guests can prepare their best recipes without any inconvenience.

• 4 double rooms, 3 of them with a double bed and the third with bunk beds for 2 people. They have charming cobbled walls and others in pastel tones, wardrobes, beautiful designer headboards and side tables with lamps.

• 2 complete bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a bathtub, towels, hair dryer and body hygiene products.

• A toilet.

• A hall that can be used as a living room or games room, since there is a collection of board games in the house.

The rooms of the house are equipped with heating and free Wifi.

The exterior of the house has a wonderfulpool, equipped with hammocks.

In the garden we also find an area with a stone barbecue, outdoor furniture to enjoy meals outdoors, an area with swings and a vegetable garden.

About 4 km away is Besalú, a beautiful town full of medieval buildings of great beauty, such as:

• The Monastery of San Pedro de Besalú, a Benedictine building from the 10th century.

• TheChurch of San Vicente, from the 13th century and in which the Romanesque and Gothic styles intermingle.

• The medieval bridge of Besalú, composed of a total of 7 arches.
