Taking advantage of the latitudes to which we find the accommodation chosen on the island, we can visit more or less comfortable the Natural Park of Tamadaba, especially because it is closer to our starting point. In this wonderful place we can see how the picos of the Altavista and Tamadaba peaks rise, with just over 1000 meters, which suddenly falls into the sea in impossible cliffs. This relief easily retains the clouds producing rainfall that support the undergrowth that abundantly populates its slopes and generates as spectacular frames as the Blue Charco, a cataract with a small lake that is the epitome of tropical paradise, which we can reach without difficulties when traveling a route of senderism, of the quite in the area.
As its own curiosity of this concrete area of the island we have the archaeological park Maipés de Agaete, a reservoir in it were found more than 700 tombs of the former Guanches residents, some with around 1300 years old. A interpretation center has been created around it to clarify the findings and rebuild the story for visitors.
