L'abadia de Santes Creus

One of the most unique rural houses in Catalonia and located in one of the most beautiful villages, Santes Creus, in the Alt Camp region, 30 minutes from Tarragona and one hour from Barcelona.

The building is steeped in history and tradition, built in the eighteenth century, it retains the charm of bygone times but is equipped with all the comforts of modern life.

The house can be rented in full or by rooms. In total, it has the capacity to accommodate a maximum of 15 people.

It has 6 double rooms, 3 of which are bedrooms of 24 square meters. The rooms are spacious with balconies or large windows from which to observe an incredible panoramic view of the town.

In them, you will find antique wooden furniture (desk, bedside tables, built-in wardrobes...) and simple and elegant decorative elements such as plants or squares.

The rooms have access to shared bathrooms. In the house there is a total of 4 complete bathrooms, and a toilet. All of them equipped with towels and courtesy items.

Exploring the common areas of the interior, we find:

• 3 Rooms. The living room on the ground floor is distributed in a space of 40 square meters in which no detail is lacking: shelves with books and crockery, sofas and armchairs, television, dining tables... a dream space to enjoy leisure shared. On the first floor are the other 2 rooms, smaller than the main one, they also have sofas and television.

• A kitchen with a dining room. The kitchen has all the appliances you may need during your stay, including: oven, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge with freezer....and all kinds of utensils and kitchenware. In addition, there is also a large dining table with chairs.

Leaving the house you will access an incredible garden of about 3,000 m2 surrounded by laurels, cypresses, elder and walnut trees. Inside there is also a barbecue area, garden furniture for the summer, and a large swimming pool.

The house is located in the town center of the town. A few meters from the farm you will find a sports center with a tennis court, areas of bars and restaurants, farms and supermarkets.

In addition, several hiking routes adapted to all types of audiences and levels pass through the municipality. A perfect opportunity for family outings.

Among the cultural routes that you can do in the surroundings, we recommend:

• The Cistercian Route, where you will visit the monuments of Santes Creus, located next to the house, Vallbona de les Monges and Poblet.

• The Route of the Castles of Gaia, a journey through the oldest history of Tarragona.

If you want to enjoy hours of fun and adrenaline, the Port Aventura park is located about 40 kilometers away by road.
