El Encinar de Cobo

We want to offer our guests rural accommodation located near the town of Fuensanta de Martos, located in the province of Jaén.
We put at your disposal an old 2-story Andalusian farmhouse that has been completely renovated and currently has the capacity to accommodate up to 15 people.

On the ground floor you will find a very spacious living room with a wood-burning fireplace, as well as another room next to it also with a fireplace. The kitchen includes all the necessary appliances to make your stay easier. The floor is completed by a room with an integrated bathroom and completely adapted for people with reduced mobility.

On the first floor are the rest of the rooms, 5 in total and 3 of them with an integrated bathroom.

The garden is surrounded by centuries-old holm oaks and has artificial light to take advantage of this space at night. It also incorporates a swimming pool enabled during the summer months (fenced for the safety of children and with natural grass). The outdoor space is completed by a solarium terrace, a large pergola for having lunch outdoors and a swing area for the little ones in the house.
The front part of the rural house has a covered porch with a barbecue area and a wood oven available to our clients.

The entire house is equipped withcentral heating and air conditioning. The large area of ​​land that surrounds the house allows it to also serve as aparking lot,  and you can also go with your pet so that it can also enjoy the surroundings.

The rural property is located on the bank of the Víboras River, which flows into a swamp a short distance away where you can visit the ruins of an Arab castle or take the Vía Verde del Aceite (it runs the same path as the old train line between Puente Genil and Linares)

The closest town is Fuensanta de Martos, which has some notable monuments such as:

• Church of Our Lady of Fuensanta.
• The Fountain of the Black in front of the church and chosen by the residents of the town through a vote.
• Hermitage of Reguero in honor of theVirgin of Fátima.

Just 90 kilometers away is the provincial capital, Jaén. Jaén. City that preserves great heritage such as:

• Cathedral of the Assumption, designed by the architect Andrés de Vandelvira.
• Castillo de Santa Catalina, a military complex that was expanded by Arabs and Christians.
• The largest and best preserved Arab baths in all of Europe, located in the basements of the Villardompardo Palace.
• Basilica of San Ildefonso, in honor of the Virgin of the Chapel.
