Description of Casa rural El Nacimiento
The rural house that you see is located in the town of Pontones, in the province of Jaén.
It is, as its name suggests, a house located at the source of the river Segura. Old construction and recently renovated, our accommodation stands on three floors, perfectly decorated and equipped with furniture that gives a very cozy atmosphere to every corner.
It allows a maximum occupancy of 14 people, so it is presented as a perfect option to travel in a group and enjoy an indescribable natural environment.

In the outdoor areas, this house offers leisure possibilities that include a built-in barbecue and, in the same space, a table with stone benches. Due to its steep location, it is possible to appreciate, while enjoying the food that we have cooked in the open air, of the views. On the other hand, a wooden terrace in the front part, to relax watching the mountains, accommodated in the outdoor furniture with which it has been equipped.

- 2 fully equipped kitchens, each one on one of the floors, thus facilitating the task of cooking without large crowds in the same space. Both, decorated with rustic furniture, have a set of modern electrical appliances and, among their cabinets, the crockery and kitchenware. These two rooms have in the same space, a dining table where all the occupants can sit down to eat.
- 2 rooms ; having one of them on the first floor and the second on the last one. The first of them has a set of multi-seater sofas in brown tones, directed towards the wall where the wood-burning fireplace is located, for which material is provided daily; To one side and hanging on the wall, the plasma television. The second of them, somewhat smaller, is on the top floor decorated, this one, in more modern colors that throw reds and purples; also has two sofas that turn into a bed, increasing the capacity of the house.
- 3 complete bathrooms; all of them with modern-looking toilets and in perfect condition, with showers and washbasin cabinets on which are the mirrors, reinforced with spotlights that bring more light to the rooms. All of them also have sets of towels for each one.
- 6 bedrooms that are made up of: two with a double bed and a plus individual ; one of double, with a single bed; a room, with two single beds and, finally, one with a bunk and a wooden desk. Each one has been decorated following the maxim of offering comfort and good views, as is the case of one of them which, located in the highest part, has its walls covered with large windows with exterior views.

The environment of our rural house, in the province of Jaén, is spectacular, with the rugged mountains combined with green meadows as a landscape.
It is precisely these mountains that make up the Sierra de Segura, accessible through mountain routes to the highest peaks. These routes provide the most beautiful landscapes in this part of Andalusia, preserving the native fauna and flora of the bank of the river that bears the same name and that bathes these lands.
There are several reservoirs from which you can enjoy the views, as they are surrounded by mountain areas; two of the most important are the Embalse de la Vieja and the Embalse de Anchuricas.
