Casa Vella del Pantà

Our rural house is located on the shores of the Riudecanyes reservoir in the province of Tarragona.

This house arises from the dream of a family to live the ecological life next to a swamp.

This is the old house of the person in charge of the swamp, which has been renovated and is almost finished.

Today it welcomes up to22 guests, who will be able to discover these modern facilities that are so respectful of the environment and enjoy free access to internet.

We have 8 bedrooms, combining couple rooms with double beds, double rooms and quadruple rooms. All rooms have their own bathroom with a bathtub that is integrated with innovative wood into the room itself, except for the toilet area, which is separate. These rooms have large windows and painting and decoration in pale tones with natural elements, such as wooden logs or decorative pallets.

Next, a dining table to enjoy great meals that communicates with the kitchen area, red in color combined with stainless steel appliances and all the luxury of utensils that will make your time of cooking unprecedented fun.

The best thing about this space is the projector to watch movies.

Outside there is a beautiful patio, whose decoration is very careful and has relaxation elements creating a chillout area and terrace elements to enjoy meals outdoors and its outdoor barbecue. It also has a small jacuzzi that is heated to 35 degrees a few hours a day between April and the end of October. In high season you can also enjoy a swimming pool. 

Our location, very close to the reservoir of the town that is Riudecanyes, forming part of the province of Tarragona, offers, as you can see, a unique environment that has a special charm that you can enjoy, discovering every corner of its streets and exploring the natural spaces.

Of the latter, the aforementioned swamp stands out, which is suitable for bathing and will, for sure, be a place to cool off in the hot season.

Of the buildings that deserve special mention, the Castell d’Escornalbou stands out, which was converted into a stately home in the mid-19th century, mysterious legends surround it.
