Casa Rural Cortijo Rubiales

We are in the Badajo population of Rubiales, a small district that belongs to the neighboring town of Higuera de la Llerena, located in the south of the province, and where the landscape reigns, are extensive fields of cultivation.
The accommodation is an old XIX century farmhouse, with thick walls and whitewashed façade, which, while preserving its rural charm, includes current comforts.
Its capacity is for 22 people, making it a perfect place for large groups.
In its exterior has a large garden with native vegetation and green areas, and an area of ​​ patio in front of the house, where, in addition, there is space to park the vehicles.

It also has a pool, which surrounds the garden, with an area of ​​ solarium which includes garden furniture.

The interior of the house is distributed in the following rooms:

• Rooms

The house has a total of three rooms. One of them, very spacious with several sofas and armchairs, as well as a dining table and television, in which you can see a rustic decoration, among which some very well preserved antique furniture stands out. The second room is a cozy room, also with sofas and armchairs and with great luminosity, while the last room is dedicated to the reading, housing a small collection of books on both sides of the fireplace, and that also includes a nice old piano.

• Dining room

It is a large space of , large capacity, with a long table and a multitude of chairs, where there will be room for all of you who gather for meals.

• Kitchen

We found two kitchens, one of them with modern equipment, and the other, a old typical Extremaduran kitchen that has a fireplace, and also barbecue.

• Bedrooms

Eight different rooms are distributed in , all double and with possibility to include a third extra bed if necessary. All include storage furniture in the same style as the decoration line of the rest of the house.

• Bathrooms

The accommodation has a total of six full bathrooms equipped with a bathtub, being two of which is commonly used, while the remaining four are direct access from the rooms.

The house has internet connection, as well as a perfect air conditioning with which you can select the temperature you prefer during your stay.
Pets are welcome, so if you want to travel with her, you can do it without problem.

From Rubiales, a small village located at south of in the province of Badajoz, you can access, in just over an hour, Mérida.

This monumental city, whose origins date back to Roman times, is home to a large number of vestiges of the time, especially its well-known Roman theater.

Other famous monuments are its amphitheater, or the Temple of Diana, both very well preserved, as well as its aqueduct or its Roman bridge, which crosses the Guadiana River.

In addition, you cannot miss the opportunity to try its gastronomy, where one of its most typical dishes is the migas de pastor, a food of very ancient origin.
