This rural housing, as the name implies, is located in what was formerly the building that served as City Council of the people. It is in the municipality of Mengamuñoz, in the province of Ávila.

The building has been recently rehabilitated so that it can function as rural accommodation. However, the facade has remained without modifications, so that it retains all the rural aesthetic and the charm of the original construction.

Throughout the exterior it is possible observe the natural materials with which it is carried out, such as the stone and the wood. There are even some forge in the windows that have surpassed the passage of time.

The interiors have renewed in such a way that guarantee all the current comforts that guests can search, always respecting the rural style. This style is achieved through furniture of wood and also elements of forge in the rooms.

The house is distributes in 2 plants and has capacity to accommodate 10 people, divided into 5 double bedrooms.

The ground floor has:

• a double room, furnished with 2 individual beds. This bedroom has its own fourth of bathroom and is adapted for people of reduced mobility.
• a room with dining room, with sufficient space for all guests.
• a modern and complete kitchen.
• a bathroom to share.

The upper floor consists of:

• 3 marriage bedrooms.
• a double room, furnished with individual beds and that has a fourth of integrated bathroom.

The house is inside of the urban center of the town of megamuñoz, but at the same time the town is surrounded by places natural in which it is possible to perform possible sports of adventure.

Inside the town is recommended visit its various monuments such as the church of San Miguel Arcángel, a black of herrar, a ancient source, flour mills and a Roman road.
The Sierra de Ávila is the natural place Mountain bike.

It is also recommended visit others places of cultural interest such as Muñotelo, Narros del Pueto, Villaviciosa, Amavida, Robledillo, Poveda or Villator. all of them, localities full of monuments.
