Casa Quadres

The rural accommodation Casa Quadres is located in the Girona municipality of Torroella de Fluvia. It is an old house that functioned as a blacksmith shop and is currently, after a process of modernization and conditioning, a cozy rural house.

It consists of a floor with a private terrace and one more terrace with a swimming pool that is provided with a space of 80 m2 in which 5 people can easily be accommodated, who will find inside:

• An open space that connects the common areas of the house; On the one hand, the kitchen, which extends along the entire front of the space and which, among its wooden furniture, houses all the appliances for daily use such as the washing machine, dishwasher, American refrigerator, stove, toaster and a couple of coffee makers.

• Below you will find a large dining table with capacity for 6 people and that works as a functional room separator element.

• Finally, in this open space, we find the living room; the part most intended for resting with family or friends together. It consists of a sofa and several armchairs to which we have added a piece of furniture where we place the plasma television and a small wooden table that supports the music system.

• Now in a closed space, the bathroom, for which we include a pair of towels for each guest and which has everything you need to feel at home: toilets, sink, mirror and a shower where you can have your moment of relaxation at the end of the day.

• 2 bedrooms: one with a double bed and the second with 2 single beds to which it is possible to add one more extra bed and, if needed, a crib for babies. Decorated in a very simple but extremely cozy way, its beds with letex mattresses will make your rest the best time of the day.

In all rooms you will find a heating system for the cold months and an air conditioning system for the warmer months.
The exterior areas of the house are divided into:

• An elongated terrace that surrounds the entire rural accommodation, decorated with outdoor furniture and from which you will have views of the town, the horizon, and the pool area, in the lower part of the house.

• A huge terrace of 214 m2 that is divided into a swimming pool that occupies the main position: the center of this part of the house and, around it, a paved area with sun loungers and umbrellas and the barbecue part, to enjoy a meal outdoors.

Torroella de Fluvia is a small municipality that is included in the Alto Ampurdán area.

Its natural areas pass through its main river, from which the town's name is derived; that leaves views of nature, that grows on the banks and that also encourages the development of animal species in the area.

In addition, it is characterized by being one of the areas of Spain that preserves volcanic formations.

As for its architectural ensemble, this municipality combines, thanks to its history and the mix of cultures due to past settlements that used this area as a place to live, many monuments from different stages and different stylistic currents that can be visited; above all, constructions of a religious nature.
