Casa Grande de La Antigua Vaquería

This house is located within a quiet rural complex in the town of La Melgosa, near the city of Cuenca, surrounded by countryside and silence to rest from problems. 

If you are a large group, this house is perfect for you, since it has enough space to accommodate up to 15 people with all the comforts, and also at your disposal, the common areas of the complex where you can enjoy a restaurant, a wonderful spa with sauna and jacuzzi, for which an hour represents an additional cost of 10 euros;  porch area with barbecues and a large garden patio with tables to enjoy the time or read a book. 

Recently remodeled, but respecting its traditional appearance, the house is structured as follows:

• 2 triple rooms, with a double and single bed, all of them have the necessary furniture for a comfortable stay with television cabinets, tables and side tables. One of them is also a special room that has its own kitchen and living room, for those who prefer total privacy. 

• 2 double bedrooms, also with their own TV, large windows and wooden furniture. 

• A 2-bed room with wooden ceilings, private bathroom, exterior window and television. 

• The living-dining room area has a wood-burning fireplace to stay warm, several sofas to get together to chat or watch television, and a large table with space for 10 people. 

• The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances, kitchenware and space necessary to prepare whatever you want. 

• The house has 2 full bathrooms at your disposal and a simple toilet. 

• All rooms have heating.

The historic city of Cuenca, just 6 kilometers from our complex, is full of charming corners and architectural gems that guarantee a walk to remember. Among its most notable monuments, you cannot miss the spectacular San Pablo Bridge, the entire historic center, which includes the famous Hanging Houses over the sickle of the Huécar River, or the Mangana Tower.

If you feel like taking an outdoor excursion, it is highly recommended to visit the Devil's Window in the Júcar River canyon from which you can admire the Serranía de Cuenca in all its splendor. The area of ​​Las Torcas de los Palancares is of special geological interest, with depressions of up to 500 meters that make up a unique landscape. Nearby, the Cañada del Hoyo Lagoons offer their visitors crystal-clear waters, pine forests and steep slopes among which to get lost.
