Casa El Rozado

Our house is located in the high zone of Piedralaves, a beautiful town of Ávila. From its location you can enjoy a quiet vacation and contemplate one of the most beautiful panoramic views of the Tiétar Valley and the Sierra de Gredos. 

It is a holiday accommodation built in the modernite style of the 50s and that has a maximum capacity for 20 people. The house has:

• fully equipped cooking with all kinds of appliances that allow you to prepare your best dishes and leave your guests with their mouths open. There are cooking chest enough for 20 guests. It is decorated in a turquoise color that brings joy and vitality to the room. It is a very wide space in which you will find a kitchen table to eat all together or chop something while the chef on duty prepares the food. 

• dining room with a beautiful traditional style table and several matching furniture in which you will find the household items you can need. The most striking is the window overlooking the garden that brings a lot of luminosity and beautiful views. 

• lounge with firewood fireplace around which several sofas are located where you can chat with your friends or read a book. In this room you will also find the television, so you will have no excuse for not being informed of the present even if you are on vacation. 

• 3 bedrooms with marriage bed totally furnished.

• 3 quadruple bedrooms with 4 individual beds and sufficient storage space so that all guests can organize their clothes. 

• A individual room with bed, nightstand and closet in which the guest can enjoy greater intimacy. 

• 4 bathrooms with bathtub or shower, according to the characteristics of each room. 

• laundry in which you can wash and hold your clothes.

• 2 terraces with outdoor furniture so you can sit down to contemplate the surrounding landscape.

• 3000 m2 garden fenced in stone containing exterior furniture and a barbecue in which you can prepare rich grilled meats. 

We provide you with the bedding and towels that you may need.

The whole house has heating.

Our house is located in Piedralaves, a small municipality of just 2500 inhabitants that belongs to Ávila. It is a very quiet town that will allow you to disconnect from the stress of your daily routine and be in direct contact with nature. Some of the monuments you can visit are:

• The Church of San Antonio de Padua, built between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. The baroque altarpiece that houses inside. 

• The clock tower is characterized by being separated from the town hall.

• The Roman Bridge, of medieval origin. Formerly it was an obligatory step on the road of Plasencia to Madrid. Today it still has a good state of conservation.

• The historic center of Piedralaves, travels its cobbled streets to observe the typical construction of the area with its wooden and granite balconies. 

Very close to our house you can also visit:

• The Castillo de la Adrada, recently restored construction whose origin dates back to the fourteenth century. 

• The Natural Park of the Sierra de Gredos, a protected natural space that houses a wide variety of flora and fauna and impressive landscapes.
