El Buxaus de la Muntanya

The accommodation is located at Arbùcies, a town in the middle of the Montseny Natural Park, Girona. It was built as farmhouse in the XVIII century and has been rehabilitated to be a comfortable house. It is distributed in 3 double rooms and 2 family. We offer accommodation and breakfast, half board or full board.

The family rooms are La Blada and El Castanyer and the doubles are El Pi, El Pomer and La Noguera. They are in a wing attached to the house. The relatives have a double bed and a single o sofa bed. The beds come fully equipped and its body is made of wood to match the cabinets and bedside tables.

They are spacious rooms where guests can be comfortably. On the roof you can see the robust wooden beams that support it. The floor of these rooms is made of wood.

The double rooms are on the first floor of the house and have a double bed igualmente fully equipped. On each side of the bed are bedside tables to match the rest of the furniture. The room Noguera has a table for 4 people located in front of the bed and from there you have views towards the mountain and valleys around.

Each and every one of the rooms are exterior and guests can request extra beds. They have heating for greater comfort.

Also have all private bathroom equipped in full with all the elements and toiletries. The daily cleaning of the rooms is included.

Guests share common areas within the house, such as the X The WIFI connection is free. We have a dining room with limited capacity where we serve breakfast daily and offer the service of lunch and dinner. We prepare meals based on homemade recipes and with food from the garden itself.
In the outdoor area is the pool with a wonderful view of the natural park. There is enough space to sunbathe or to simply relax enjoying the fresh air. In this area there is a furnished shed, a ping-pong table, basket, swings and goal.

In the garden is a centennial cedar of which there are few in the peninsula. It is a space of tranquility and peace.

The accommodation is located at Arbùcies, Girona, a town of just over 6000 inhabitants about 85 kilometers from Barcelona. The main attractions are the churches of:

• Sant Pere Desplá
• Santa Maria de Lliors
• Sant Mateu de Joanet

There is also Castillo de Montsariu, built in the 13th century. You can also find the Ethnological Museum of Montseny-La Gabella. One of the most important festivals in the area is Les Enramades, celebrated on May 18 and is characterized because all the streets of the town are filled with spectacular carpets of flowers.

The Natural Park of Montseny is an ideal place to carry out any activity of nature thanks to its lush forests, large valleys, massifs and hills.
