Our rural house is located in the Barcelona town of Avinyonet Del Penedes.

This rural house is the oldest in the town, where the ritual of "salpás" was carried out at the hands of the town priest. This ritual consisted in spreading holy water and salt.

The house has been totally rebuilt in 1999 but some of the original elements dating back to 1779 have been preserved, such as the fireplace and the roof.

The house has capacity for 10 people that can be distributed around their stays: 2 double rooms and other 2 triples. In addition to this the house has:

2 full bathrooms.

Kitchen equipped with wooden furniture and dining table.

Living room where the chimney original, sofas and television.

Both the living room, the dining room and the kitchen are in the same diaphanous area. We could say that the dining table serves as a bridge between the other 2.

On the outside of the house we find:

A huge pool where you can refresh the hot summer days. In addition, the pool is surrounded by trees and has sun loungers. In this space that occupies the pool there is also a reserved part for the In the yard we also find a fountain and outdoor clothes rack.

Avinyonet del Penedès is a municipality marked by history. During the past centuries were built from churches to castles that today is maintained.

You can also visit the capital of the region, Villafranca del Penedès, which is located 5 minutes from the rural house. Here is interesting that you visit the Wine Museum, which is considered one of the best in Europe and the Basilica Gothic style built between the XII-XV.

In less than an hour you can go to the provincial capital. It is in Barcelona where you will find the famous facades of Gaudí, the port or the bunkers. From the latter you can glimpse the entire city, from the architectural buildings to the coast.
