This rural apartment is located at Albarracín, within the province of Teruel. It is a town of 1093 inhabitants located in the foothills of the mountain range of the same name. Due to the beauty of its old quarter, which is typically medieval but with Arab influences, this city has received the Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts, the title of National Monument and is being considered by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
The most outstanding monument of the city is the castle, of which the dwelling of the rulers of the town, both Arabs and Christians, is preserved, which was occupied from the construction of the castle in the eleventh century until the eighteenth century. The castle is surrounded by the original wall that still retains on its exterior 2 watchtowers. In addition, inside the wall there is an archaeological excavation where medieval remains have been found.
Very close to the village are the Pinares de Rodeno, a protected area of 6829 hectares, so called because the pines are rooted on a soil formed by red sandstone, which is known as rodeno. In these forests you can find creatures such as the marten, the common squirrel or the fox.
