Welcome to Tornos, a small Teruel town of 234 inhabitants. In this village you can see the remains of the Castle of Tornos, of which there are only 3 towers, part of a wall of the main structure and a corridor excavated in the mountain that connects the 2 terraces of the hill. This castle had much paper in the defense of the Aragonese border in the war of the two Pedros.
In the surroundings of the town they are rest of Celtic towns that were left in the III century a.C. In the castle there are also remains of this era, as a sign of how widespread they were in the area. Not far away is the Laguna de Gallocanta, which can be reached on foot by a beautiful walkway that leads to this spectacular landscape.

It is a construction of red brick built on rolling, red sandstone, with which it mimics, confusing enemies from afar.
