Apartamento La Cabaña

This rural accommodation is located in a privileged enclave of the Catalan Pyrenees. It is an old farmhouse, very typical of this territory, which has been remodeled so that a group of up to 8 people can stay comfortably. Despite this renovation, its walls and ceilings retain their original stone and wood, which gives it a very rustic and cozy touch.

Inside we find, first of all, a very charming open-plan room in which the dining room and the living room are arranged. This area has a sofa, several armchairs, a coffee table, different rustic wooden furniture, a plasma television and a wrought iron fireplace that provides warmth during winter days. Next to it is the dining room, which has a wooden table for 6 people. The room has large windows that allow you to glimpse the surrounding areas.

The kitchen is located adjacent to it. It is fully equipped and has wooden furniture, where the available dishes and kitchenware are stored, granite countertops and high-end appliances, such as a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and oven.

It houses 2 complete bathrooms and completely renovated. One of them consists of a bathtub and the other has a shower with a screen.

It has 2 double rooms that have a double bed, but another extra bed can be added. The house has a third room with 2 single beds which is located in the attic and also consists of a sofa, television and board games, ideal for spending leisure time. All bedrooms have their corresponding bedding. It is possible to add a crib for babies.

The entire house is equipped with central heating, with radiators in each room, and free WiFi connection. 

Outside, guests can enjoy a garden terrace with tables and chairs and a barbecue with a porch. It shares with the rest of the accommodations in the complex a series of common spaces, such as the covered swimming pool with hammocks for sunbathing or the space dedicated to sports activities (football, basketball or volleyball).

In the same area of the house you can visit the farm, which has different animals and you can observe agricultural and branch activity.

The house is located in the municipality of Sant Joan de les Abadesses, a place far from the main urban centers, making it ideal for guests to completely relax. There you can visit the monastery, dating from the 9th century.

The town is located halfway between different mountain systems, of which the Sierra Cavallera should be highlighted. They are ideal places to go hiking while enjoying nature. Thegarrotxa volcanic area is a few kilometers away and is another recommended place to visit due to its uniqueness.

Girona is presented as a city with thousands of really attractive places. Among them, the Cathedral and the Plaza de la Independencia are notable. Other nearby towns that can be visited are, for example, Olot or Campodron.
