Description of Castillo de Hornachos
We are in Hornachos, a municipality belonging to Badajoz, in Extremadura. Specifically, the town is located in the center-east of the province.
Located in the urban town of the town, you will arrive at our hotel in less than an hour if you come from Badajoz, and in just 50 minutes from Mérida.

This quiet town of just 4,000 inhabitants is next to the Sierra Grande de Hornachos, a mountain solid that reaches a latitude of more than 500 meters.
In this natural environment, the practice of outdoor activities is frequent, such as equestrian walks, or hiking trails of various difficulties.
In addition, this Sierra has been declined as special protection zone for birds, so if you are lucky you can enjoy its flight during the visit.
