Description of Vita
Our rural house is in the Olagorta neighborhood, one of the towns that make up the municipality of Ea (Vizcaya).
This is one of the available homes in our complex, making a total of 5 houses. This in particular is one of our most peculiar accommodations, mainly because it is the first house in the entire Basque Country to be energy self-sufficient. We have photovoltaic and other thermal panels, among many other facilities, including a complete meteorological station that form a sustainable and ecological complex.
As for aesthetics, it is also very special, since the entire building is made of vertical wooden sheets, with stone parts and a lot of glass. So much so, that the entire main wall of the living room is a large window that goes from the ceiling to the floor.
The house is located on a slope, creating 2 homes on different levels. This is the one at the top, which thanks to the slope, is at the height of the garden and also has a higher balcony.
It has 3 bedrooms, all doubles and with a double bed, so the capacity is for 6 people. However, one has an exclusive and peculiar element: a large round bed. Furthermore, as our intention is for you to be comfortable and comfortable, there are 3 bathrooms, one per room. In all of them the glass stands out to give a greater sensation of spaciousness.
The living room reflects the modern decoration of the entire house, with large white sofas with clean lines, a light wood dining table and ergonomic stools. There is also innovation in the kitchen, with marble countertops and state-of-the-art appliances.
On the balcony, there is a beautiful terrace with very good views and transparent railings.
The garden and all its facilities are common to the complex and its homes. That is why a multitude of spaces have been created for all tastes and needs:

As for heritage and places of interest, there are many that you can visit without having to make a long trip. For example, it won't take you an hour to Bilbao, and there the Guggenheim or the beautiful Chávarri Palace await you.
If you want to swim on our beaches, our area, the Urdaibai, is very beautiful. Some stand out for their cuts and fine sand, such as Ogeia or, a little larger, Laga.
A very beautiful and original place is the Oma Forest. There you will observe the different figures and images created by the trees that the artist Agustín Ibarrola has painted.
The Castro de Arrola is on the summit of the mountain of the same name and is one of the oldest vestiges, since it has been preserved since the Iron Age.
