Description of Txerturi Goikoa
Our rural house is located in a privileged geographical point to visit the Basque Country, between Itziar and Deba ( Guipúzcoa ) .
The entire house has a capacity for 16 people. Clients can choose between 2 apartments or double rooms.
The building from the outside is imposing. It is an old Basque farmhouse built of stone. It has 2 floors in which the different rooms are distributed. From the entrance you can see its character and personality thanks to a large gate that still has its metal studs and an iron knocker.
The lower floor is dedicated to the bedrooms. They can be booked one by one or the entire floor. There are 5 double bedrooms. Your guests have access to a series of common areas where they can gather.
The most welcoming room is the living room. In it there is a large chocolate-colored leather sofa, in an antique style, combined with several armchairs and wing chairs with ethnic patterns. All the furniture has a retro touch, such as the stately red dresser or the table lined with padded leather. All united by a wallpaper in beige tones and ornaments of flowers, books and warm lamps. In addition, there are large windows that make the room very bright.
Through the living room there is access to a common dining room with a kitchenette. The dining room part has tables and chairs to accommodate all guests. The kitchen has a long worktop and appliances for customers to use. When it comes to decoration, follow the same line as the living room. The wallpaper is combined with the original stone walls of the house, plus some chess-style mosaic tiles, which forms a very original set. The furniture is also very vintage, for example, the different upholstered wooden chairs and wrought iron tables. All finished off by the ceiling, with the original wooden beams, but restored and painted white.
We provide the customer with access to Wi-Fi. In addition, there is television in the common areas. If desired, the breakfast is served and the clothes are washed.
The exterior completes an idyllic accommodation. The house is located on a meadow, full of trees and green, as is normal in the Basque Country. However, in our house we go further. All the vegetation is placed and cared for in detail. Lilacs line the garden, ivy scales our facade, and flowers crown our windows. Plus, the scenery and views are unbeatable.
The garden is not only beautiful, it is also very useful. There is a terrace area and a picnic table so that the guests can enjoy the pure and clean air.
