Torre Forcheron

This accommodation is located in Amposta, a town belonging to the province of Tarragona located on the banks of the Ebro River.

Amposta belongs to the southernmost region of Catalonia, the Montsiá region. Getting to the municipality will take you approximately 13 kilometers from Tolosa, and about 65 from Reus. 

The farmhouse is built next to a medieval tower from the 16th century cataloged as Cultural Heritage at the national level. In addition, it is immersed in an agricultural property where rice plantations, fruit trees and olive trees, among others, are grown. 

The interior of the farmhouse is made up of 7 rooms, of which there are:

• Double rooms, with capacity for 2 people.

• Triple rooms, ideal for small families with a small child.

• Quadruple room, located in the most special area of the farmhouse: the tower that gives it its name. 

The rooms are decorated in detail, with stone walls that create a very cozy story-book atmosphere. They are equipped with heating for winter and fan for the hottest days. In addition, all of them have their own bathroom. 

In the common areas, you can use:

• Aliving room on the ground floor of the tower. This room is surrounded by stone walls and covered by a high wooden ceiling. In the decoration, antique country objects stand out. Inside the room you will find sofas and armchairs, television and DVD, and a small library. 

• A infant leisure area. For the little ones in the family there are several spaces full of fun where they will find slides, trampolines and see-saws, among others.

• A terrace with barbecue. In the outside gardens you will find a barbecue area and garden tables and chairs to enjoy meals with the rest of the guests.

• Apool.For the summer season, there is a large pool surrounded by sun loungers and hammocks where you can relax and enjoy the views.

Very close to the farm you will find the Sierra de Monsiá, a natural area belonging to the Catalan Lateral Mountain Range that extends from the Ebro River to the Senia.

This environment is frequently flown over by birds, so if you keep your eyes wide open you will be able to observe the flight of various species. Among the fauna of the place, the oak forests, pine forests and bushes stand out, characteristic of the Mediterranean climate.
