Pazo Cibrán

The accommodation is located in the center of Galicia, in the town San Xulián de Sales, and is a house built in the 18th century that has been completely renovated.

It is surrounded by 15,000 square meters of garden.

It has 10 rooms and can also be rented in its entirety.

It is a house with many spaces where you can read, chat, eat and drink the best products in the area. All the elements in the rooms are cared for in detail and are of the best quality. The mattresses are new, wide and comfortable. They all have their own lingerie and soft, silky pillows.

From the rooms you have views of the garden and all have their own complete bathroom with all the toiletries and a set of towels for each guest. They also have television and free WIFI connection.

Thestandard double rooms can have a double bed or 2 single beds. Additionally, guests have the possibility of adding an extra bed. They are spacious rooms with a decoration based on light colors and classic curtains.

We also have a double room somewhat smaller but that does not give up the comfort we need to be comfortable.

We have a room with 2 single beds and with the possibility of adding another 2 for a total of 4 people. It is a room that has a private garden space right in front.

The 4-person family room is located in the old sheds of the house and has a double bed and 2 other single beds. In the house we have a large living room with several spaces where guests can spend time reading or chatting. On the outside there is a large garden and green area where you can walk and enjoy the fresh breeze of the area.

In our dining room we serve breakfast. All made with good quality and native foods. There is the possibility of serving dinners for groups.

We also rent the entire Pazo to groups of between 10 and 27 people, who want to spend a quiet stay, feeling at home, surrounded by nature. The owners live in a private and independent part of the house.

You can bring your pets.

The accommodation is located in the San Xulián de Sales village within a small region called O Val da Ulla. The region is in the center of Galicia and is within a wooded and green environment where typical local flora abounds. Its location is ideal to visit several of the most beautiful corners of this land.

100 meters from the house is the town square, with the church, the music box, the school and the Casa Barreiro bar-restaurant, of course. And how well they cook! Homemade food with products from their garden. In winter they make delicious stews. They are our neighbors, from our house you will see their sheep approach the wall to browse when new people arrive.

If you like active tourism, there are several hiking and mountain bike routes around here. One of them runs along the shore of the Ulla River and reaches a point where you can rent kayaks. Next to the house there is a circular route of almost 4 hours that runs partly along the banks of the Pereiro River and enters both areas of native forest and riverbank as well as through the small villages in the area.  If not, it is always good to simply go for a quiet walk.

On the other hand, this is an area well known for the Pazos and their gardens, populated by centuries-old camellias. Close to home is one of its greatest representatives, the Pazo de Santa Cruz de Ribadulla, considered an Asset of Cultural Interest (BIC) and recently declared a Garden of International Excellence by the International Camellia Society.

It is also very worth visiting the Pazo de Oca, Mosteriso de Carboeiro, A Fervenza do Toxa, Ponte Ulla, or the Mirador de Gundián and eating in some of the furanchos in the area with a good Albariño.

And of course, you have Santiago 7 km away. a beautiful city full of history at every step. A key place to visit is the impressive cathedral and the Plaza del Obradoiro, a place of pilgrimage throughout the year.

From the house you have access to cities such as Lugo, Pontevedra or A Coruña. In addition to being close to natural spaces such as the Rías Baixas, where you can enjoy the beautiful coasts and views of the sea. From there you can visit the beautiful Atlantic Islands.
