Casa de Marcelo

This old family home, now dedicated to quality rural tourism, is located 5 kilometers from the beautiful Villa de Padrón, in A Coruña, between green meadows and mountains that make up the perfect environment to disconnect from the daily hustle and bustle. 

Completely built in stone, it has the capacity to accommodate up to 8 people in 4 rooms, which they can also use the rest of the areas of the house.

These are the following rooms:

• 2 double rooms very bright, with wooden ceilings, large double bed and beautiful rustic furniture so that you can enjoy your stay to the fullest. Both have a private bathroom with a shower. The largest one also has enough space to enable an extra bed if needed. 

• 2 rooms with T.V. and terrace from which to contemplate the garden or read a book, stone walls, double bed and careful wooden furniture so that nothing is missing. They all have a private bathroom with a hydromassage shower. 

The rest of the house is made up of these spaces: 

• A large living room, with a fireplace and several sofas to have a coffee in the warmth, watch television, read a book from the library or use the computer for your personal use that we provide if you need it. 

• A dining area with a large table to gather to eat. 

• Great kitchen with all the new appliances you may need. 

• In the extensive garden full of flowers, the barbecue area is the protagonist with a covered gazebo and stone bench where the hours will fly by. 

The entire house has free Wi-Fi connection and if you feel like it, we can lend you bicycles without any problems so you can take a tour around the area. 

The council of Padrón, birthplace of the Xacobeo, still preserves all the rural charm in each of its corners. By visiting its monuments you will be aware of the importance of this town throughout the centuries, creating over time a unique environment of history and culture. Among its streets, the Convento del Carmen, the Church of Santiago, the spectacular Roman bridge and the Palacio del Obispo Quinto stand out.

A good option to get to know the region and its exuberant nature is to walk what is known as the Romanesque route, which runs through the Church of Santa María de Herbón, the Franciscan Monastery of Herbón, the Pesqueras de Lamprea from Roman times or the crops of the famous Padrón pepper.
