Description of Masia Pau Prat

The house is located at Llicà d'Amunt , Barcelona , and has a maximum capacity of 12 people .

It has 5 rooms , of which 4 are double and one is triple.

The construction of the house of pages is typical Catalan built in 1812 . Formerly it was dedicated to the agriculture and animal husbandry. The farm has an extension of 1.5 hectares and most of it is a land dedicated to the cultivation of olive trees for the subsequent elaboration of oil and to sell it.

The double rooms can be double or have 2 single beds. The matrimonial bedrooms have a fully dressed and equipped bed with their pillows; The body of the bed can be solid wood or solid iron. On each side are bedside tables with their lamp to match the decoration.
Next to each bed is a large wooden cabinet which serves to store all our belongings. Our guests also have a small desk with furniture.

The triple room has a bunk bed and a double bed, all dressed and with pillows. It is an ideal space for children to feel comfortable.

La decoration of the rooms is rural and classic . The predominant materials are wood and iron; being the wood very worked and full of details. The walls are painted with a very curious vintage effect and on the walls there are a series of iron lamps. From some rooms you can see the wooden beams that support the roof . They are bright spaces thanks to their large windows.

All rooms have heating y, if our guests require it, we have available cots.

The living room is one of the most picturesque places in the house, there is the chimney which is ready to be used. In the coldest months of the year it is ideal to sit next to a drink or chat with family or friends. A series of chairs, armchairs and a sofa are arranged to be as comfortable as possible. On the walls are vestiges of the first construction; the blocks of brick and stone are appreciated, which contrasts with the bright colors of the walls. TV is located in front of the comfortable sofa and there is internet access.

The windows allow the optimal passage of light and just in front of the fireplace is the glass door that gives access to the exterior de the house. Outside is the large garden and furnished terrace , a place specially prepared for guests to enjoy without complications. A large brick barbecue precide the place next to the pieces of wood for the fireplace.

La pool is spacious and has a wooden fence for safety if we travel with children. It is a space with rural characteristics, but without forgetting elements that guarantee everyone's comfort. We have wooden tables and chairs as well as palm trees that provide shade.

The porch of the house is equally broad with large green areas. The entire front wall of the house has blocks of brick and wood, which gives the feeling of being in an accommodation of another time.

The kitchen is complete y has microwave, dishwasher, hob, hob and other utensils and utensils needed to feel at home. In addition we have washing machine and we offer a laundry service .

The bathrooms are complete and have a shower tray. We also offer cleaning products and a set of towels for each of the guests.

Guests have babysitting service and we offer documentation about the area. You can also come with your pets. The access to the house is paved and is properly signposted.

The house is located at Lliçà d'Amun , at the foot of the Montseny Natural Park. It has a population of almost 15,000 inhabitants and one of its main attractions are the hermitages scattered around the city, among which are San Valeriano, San Esteban de Palaudàries and San Baudillo. La Parish Church of Sant Esteve de Palaudàries is a good example of the architecture of the area.

In the various paths that pass through the house you can perform activities such as hiking or mountain biking - BTT. The town is barely 5 kilometers from Granollers , the capital of the region. The last Thursday of August celebrates the city's biggest festival, where Granollers is divided into 2 colors, blue and white, to compete in gastronomic or anecdotal evidence. An activity that unites large and small in a single festival.
